RFTL GLOBAL CHALLENGE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the RFTL Global Challenge?

In 2020, in response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we crafted a remote Virtual Ride For The Living experience so that people could still participate in this meaningful event from the comfort and safety of their own community.

Inspired by the success of the Virtual Ride, we’re pleased to announce that the Ride For The Living Global Challenge is here to stay and will take place annually in advance of the in-person Ride in Krakow. The Global Challenge combines fitness and Holocaust education to help support JCC Krakow and survivors around the world.

Whether you want to walk 10 miles over the course of a week or bike 60 miles in one day, the RFTL Global Challenge has something for everyone! To help you stay engaged and motivated, the RFTL Global Challenge will also offer free educational programming about the Holocaust and Jewish life in Krakow.

What are the dates for 2025?

The RFTL Global Challenge is scheduled to take place throughout the month of June 2025, culminating in the full in-person Ride For The Living experience in Krakow, Poland.

How much does it cost to participate?

Participation in the Global Challenge is totally free. Additionally, fundraising (while always appreciated) is not required.
